High school Coach

His name is Andy Lowry one of the best coaches I have ever been around. He was my high school football coach at columbine high school. When you met Coach Lowry he was always a person everyone respected, and was such an easy guy you could talk to. Coach Lowry was a guy who had all of his players trust; because he put in so much work each and every week to help the team win on game day.  He always said when we worked out “Character is you are when no one is watching”; when coach would say this it made everyone take their work load to the next level. He wasn’t the tallest or biggest coach by any means, but for some reason he had a way to get the best out of each one of his players. Coach Lowry did not just coach only during the football season; he coached the team all year long so they were prepared for the football season. He put in so many hours, and all of his work pays off when we win games every year. Coach Lowry never was a big yeller, but when he did he immediately got everyone’s attention. When someone would screw up he would always say “what were you thinking knuckle head”, this was one of Coach Lowry’s favorite lines, coach always meant business when he stepped on the football field. Coach Lowry has respect from many people around the city because of all the great things he has accomplished, and all the things he has taught young men through the game of football. Coach is definitely well respected and will go down as one of the best high school football coaches of all time. Andy never wanted the fame, every interview he had, he brought his kids to, and he always gave glory to his coaching staff and players. Coach Lowry has impacted many lives by his generosity and hard work for the community of columbine high school.
