I believe in order to be an expert on a topic; you always have new stuff to learn. Since my topic is so broad there are a lot of things I could learn to make me get a better understanding. Football is a game that is always changing; there are new roles, fans, stadiums, equipment, techniques, and jobs every year in the game of football. In this blog I am going to discuss the things I believe I could learn to make me gain a better knowledge on the game of football.
Being around football my whole life I have gained a lot of knowledge as a player for many years but also as a coach. Being a coach now days has taught me many different things such as, how to coach different personalities, how to get your point across, and how to get a team ready to play on game day. I’m so used to doing all these things as a player that it makes it difficult as a coach to be put in a complete different position. As a coach I would love to learn many things such as the examples I gave, so I can help teach the sport I love to other kids.
In football there are many things you need to know that will keep you from getting injured, or as a coach keep your players from getting injured. I would love to learn how to communicate better with the kids, also all the little things it takes to be a successful team as a coach. I know all you need to know as a player, but I feel as if I could learn a lot more as a coach. I need to continue learning so this knowledge on football can get me to where I want to be someday. I love coaching and I always love learning new things, especially new things that will help me share the love of football to other kids. I hope to continue to learn everyday about the game of football; I think there is always something new to learn. I want to be the best coach/player I can be.
Vince Lombardi: Famous Football Quote
The spirit, the will to win, and the will to excel are the things that endure. These qualities are so much more important than the events that occur.
Great post about how being a coach has inspired you to learn a whole new set of skills! I love the ending quote.
